Wake The Tiger

Why the name ‘Wake The Tiger’?
The name was inspired by the book ‘Waking The Tiger’ by Peter Levine, which explores themes of trauma and transformation. It is about awakening that fierce, powerful part within ourselves to drive change. The vision behind it is beautifully symbolic; on one side, a strong and fierce animal, and on the other, a playful, cuddly cub. Wake The Tiger represents the balance between these two – fierce yet playful, powerful yet approachable.

We begin our tour of the British capital in the West End, home to Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. Lunch is planned among the restaurants of Covent Garden, once a market, now a trendy neighborhood. In the afternoon, we explore the City, a financial hub with futuristic buildings and a few relics of the past, such as the Tower of London. After dinner, we have the opportunity to purchase a ticket to one of the many musicals scheduled in the city.

With today's guided tours, we immerse ourselves in the London of the Royal Crown. We travel with our guide outside London to discover the majestic Hampton Court Palace, home of Henry VIII and his second wife, Anne Boleyn, followed by four more wives. We return to London for the lunch at the restaurant. Tour of Westminster Abbey, the site of solemn monarchy ceremonies, before reaching Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament for an obligatory photo opportunity. After dinner, those interested can take an optional boat trip on the Thames in the evening.

In the morning, we reach the UNESCO World Heritage site of Stonehenge and visit this prehistoric megalithic complex, one of Europe's most famous, dating back to the early Iron Age and dedicated to solar worship. After lunch, we travel along the Avon River valley to Bath, where we stop to visit the spa and the historic center, before continuing on to Bristol for dinner.

We reach green Somerset, stopping in Wells to visit its Cathedral, decorated with over three hundred statues of kings, saints, and angels (the Cathedral may be closed or partially open on occasion). After lunch, we continue to Glastonbury, the legendary Avalon according to Celtic myths, home of Excalibur and the burial place of King Arthur, where we visit the Abbey. In the evening, we dine at the hotel. Overnight.
